If you've made it this far, I'm Emmanuel but more often go by the name 'Manny'. I'm the proud husband to a beautiful lady called Nonya Biznez and the eldest child in a family of 5.
I was raised in Newham, home to some of UK's legends like Kano & Idris Elba. As a 90s baby, I was heavily influenced by the emerging grime scene and the ever-growing Hip Hop scene. This is where my love for music first began. I'm a shameless football fanatic. I should have become a professional football player but I got an injury when I was 15. (I'm not like the rest of them who've said this, I promise).
Against my dad's wishes, I became a teacher 5 years ago and continued the disobedience when I became a SENCO. In 2018, I was fortunate to become the director of a wonderful youth programme called The Reach Out Project.
I'm really just an average Joe from East Ham who is passionate about investing in young people. With the strength of yam and plantain, my mission is to change the world, one young person at a time. This website is very much an expression of everything I care to comment on, hence the name Manny's conscience. My blogs vary from Educational topics to the benefits of yam and plantain (i'm obsessed with yams if you haven't gathered).
